Viral Video of Couple’s Public Indecency in Moving Car Sparks Controversy

In a shocking incident that disregarded decency and caution, an aspiring chartered accountant and his girlfriend, a mechanical engineer working with a MIDC-based company, recently caused a stir in the city when they were caught on video engaging in a compromising situation inside a moving car. The video, which quickly went viral on social media, captured the girl sitting on her partner’s lap, with her legs wrapped around his waist as they tightly embraced each other. This incident took place on a busy stretch of Nagpur, from Law College Square to Shankar Nagar, on a rainy Monday evening.

According to the police, both the man and his girlfriend are 28 years old. The man had picked up his girlfriend from Law College Square, where she had parked her scooter near GS College. He resides in Zingabai Takli and is currently undergoing training with a chartered accountant firm. The car involved in the incident belongs to his father, who is a bullion trader.

Rehan Lateef Khan, an eyewitness who assisted in capturing the video, explained that they felt the need to document the incident as they believed it was a case of dangerous driving. He described witnessing the couple engaging in objectionable behavior while the car was in motion, putting the lives of others at risk. Khan promptly approached Ambazari police station with the video evidence. Senior Inspector Vinayak Golhe from Ambazari police station launched an investigation and revealed that the man attempted to conceal the car at his friend’s place in Ram Nagar before fleeing towards Wardha Road.

However, the Ambazari police team, under the supervision of Zonal DCP Rahul Madne, apprehended the man on Wardha Road and detained his girlfriend. The police registered an offense, seized the car, and subsequently handed the case over to Sitabuldi Police Station. The couple has been booked under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bombay Police Act, and Motor Vehicles Act, including charges of rash driving, objectionable behavior, and public indecency.
