Pune RTO to Hold Online Auction of Seized Vehicles on December 26

The Regional Transport Office (RTO) in Pimpri-Chinchwad has officially announced an e-auction for 10 vehicles that were seized due to nonpayment of Motor Vehicle Tax and violations of the Motor Vehicles Act. This auction represents a significant opportunity for buyers and is set to take place on December 26, 2024, at 10 AM.

Important Dates and Registration

Vehicle owners, drivers, and financiers have until the auction date to settle any outstanding taxes. According to the deputy regional transport officer (DRTO) of Pimpri-Chinchwad, individuals interested in bidding must register online at www.eauction.gov.in between December 16 and 19. For those looking to familiarize themselves with the auction process, the terms and conditions will be available starting December 9 during office hours, which are from 10 AM to 6 PM at the notice board of the RTO Pimpri-Chinchwad.

Vehicle Inspection and Auction Details

Prospective buyers can inspect the seized vehicles at the RTO office located in Moshi from December 9 to 24. It is important to note that the auction will be conducted on an “as it is” basis, meaning that bidders should be aware of the vehicle’s condition prior to bidding. The list of available vehicles will be prominently displayed on the e-auction website as well as on notice boards at the RTO Pimpri-Chinchwad, the Pune collectorate, and various taluka offices in Pune city, including Haveli, Junnar, Maval, Khed, Mulshi, and Ambegaon.

Auction Cancellation Rights

The DRTO of Pimpri-Chinchwad retains the right to cancel or postpone the auction at any time and without providing any reason.
