On a blistering Saturday, Nagpur experienced a maximum temperature of 41.1°C, as reported by the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC). Residents enjoyed a mild breeze in the evening, providing a slight reprieve from the sweltering heat.In the broader Vidarbha region, Chandrapur emerged as the hottest city, reaching a scorching 42.6°C. Following closely was Washim, which recorded a temperature of 41.0°C. The persistent hot weather has kept many parts of the region feeling the heat.Here’s a summary of the maximum temperatures recorded in various cities across Vidarbha:
- Akola: 40.2°C
- Bhandara: 40.0°C
- Wardha: 39.8°C
- Amravati, Gadchiroli, and Gondia: 39.6°C each
