Nagpur CP Screens ‘Fateh’; Sonu Sood Makes Surprise Appearance to Promote Cybercrime Awareness
Nagpur Police Commissioner Dr. Ravindra Kumar Singhal organized a special screening of the newly released movie ‘Fateh’ on January 20 and 21, 2025, at Eternity Mall in Sitabuldi. The event was specifically arranged for police officers and their families, aiming to raise awareness about the increasing threat of cybercrime, particularly focusing on loan app scams and their repercussions.The screening turned into an unexpected delight for attendees, as they had no prior notice of the event.
The film ‘Fateh’ highlights the detrimental effects of cybercrime, providing both entertainment and valuable insights. The excitement escalated when Sonu Sood, the film’s lead actor, made a surprise appearance, engaging with the officers and their families, posing for photos, and enhancing the overall experience.In addition to the film screening, the event featured the unveiling of T-shirts for the upcoming Tiger Run Marathon, scheduled for January 25, 2025, at 5:00 AM, organized by the Nagpur Police.
Sonu Sood had the honor of unveiling the T-shirts alongside Commissioner Dr. Singhal and senior officers, including Additional Commissioner Sanjay Patil and DCPs Niketan Kadam and Dr. Ashwini Patil.The program received widespread appreciation, offering a unique experience for officers and their families. Many expressed that it was their first time watching a film during an official event and meeting a celebrity like Sonu Sood in person.
