Apple Aims to Simplify Texting Across iPhone and Android Devices

A big news there from top technology giant- Apple Inc as it plans to consider a technological standard upcoming year, which will help the users to text messages smoothly between the iPhone devices and Android devices. yes , you heard it right, now the company seems to have pushed back on their standard called RCS for around a year and even as we see Google and other players have added pressure on Apple to adopt the technology called RCS.

The RCS technology deals with the rich communication services which happens to be an upgrade for services like SMS or MMS texting and it is supported by the GSM Association. The said technology plays a vital role in texting features and it is shared over different phones on a wide range of platforms. For example, the Apple users have the option of texting from Android platforms to Apple based devices using Wi-Fi and not with only cellular networks. They are able to send images and videos of big side to their friends from diverse platforms.

However, we knew that all the genuine products from Apple dealing with fun and work features promised higher security for its iMessage system, which prevented the users from sending text to other devices. These included the iPhone, Smart Watch, iPad and Mac based devices. Later, in the coming years, we have seen adding too much of support for RCS Universal Profile

As per the Apple Inc officials, the RCS Universal Profile will give a good interoperability experience when compared to the texting features. This feature has been added along with iMessage that keeps on helping the users to gain a good messaging experience. Earlier, Tom Cook, the CEO was the one who supported the RCS technology declaring the same at one of the Conference wherein he suggested that people would now want to have a smarter texting option with the family members who are keen on buying them for their iPhone devices.
