2,500 Pune Women Participate in Saree Run Organized by Taneira and JJ Active

Taneira, a distinguished brand under the TATA umbrella, in collaboration with JJ Active, a Bangalore-based fitness initiative, hosted a spectacular event at Pune University on Sunday morning. Over 2,500 women, adorned in vibrant sarees, came together to celebrate themes of strength, femininity, freedom, and fitness. The run was officially flagged off by Taneira’s CEO, Ambuj Narayan, alongside Coach Pramod from JJ Active, marking a spirited start to the festivities.In his address to attendees, Narayan emphasized Taneira’s dedication to celebrating the saree as a powerful symbol of femininity and empowerment.
“At Taneira, we are passionate about showcasing the saree as a vibrant expression of identity,” he stated. He further elaborated that the saree run not only highlights the elegance of this traditional garment but also reinforces the brand’s commitment to integrating it into a modern, active lifestyle. “Through our collaboration with JJ Active, we aim to demonstrate how the saree can seamlessly merge with dynamic living and personal expression,” he added.
