Tata Group to Have its Hotel in Nagpur, Check Deets

Hot on the heels of opening its second hotel in Nagpur, the Tata Group announced plans to establish another facility in the city. During a ceremony in Mumbai on Monday, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis requested Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) to further expand its presence in Nagpur. In response, IHCL confirmed it will open a new Taj Hotel in the city, marking the group’s first luxury property under the Taj brand here.
As per The Hitavada the Taj group is in advanced stages of acquiring land for the project.While this will be Tata Group’s first property under the prestigious Taj name in Nagpur, its midscale hotel chain, Ginger, already operates two facilities in the city. IHCL recently inaugurated its second Ginger property, Ginger Nagpur City Centre, on February 5 at Canal Road, Ramdaspeth. The first Ginger hotel in Nagpur, located on London Street near Wardha Road, has been operational for some time.
