PSF Nagpur Hosts Successful Inaugural Professional Premier League – 1.0 at Futebox Turf
Nagpur, April 13, 2025 — The Professional Solidarity Forum (PSF) Nagpur Chapter successfully launched the first edition of the Professional Premier League – 1.0 on April 12th and 13th at Futebox Turf, Gorewada Square, Nagpur. This spirited two-day sporting event aimed to promote healthy sportsmanship, physical fitness, and foster networking for robust community development among professionals.The tournament attracted enthusiastic participation from 16 teams, each demonstrating remarkable energy and camaraderie.
Team Comet emerged as the champions, clinching the title and a cash prize of ₹15,000. The Nagpur Warriors secured the position of 1st Runner-Up after a competitive showdown, earning a prize of ₹10,000. In a unique twist, the Man of the Series title was jointly awarded to Arsalan and Bhavesh, both members of the winning team, Comet.The event was meticulously organized by a dedicated core team, including Owais Khan, Waquar Siddiqui, Tarique Adnan, and Sufiyan, with support from active PSF members Dr. Soheb, Shoeb Ahmad, Ziyaullah Khan, Ata Siddiqui, Ateeb Patel, and Mateen Ahmad.
The first prize was generously sponsored by Critizone Hospital, with its director, Dr. Imran, attending the event. Dr. Imran praised the initiative, emphasizing his commitment to supporting events that encourage a healthy and active lifestyle through sports. Commentary for the matches was provided by Ashraf Belim and Owais Khan.The successful execution of PPL 1.0 marks a significant milestone for PSF Nagpur, setting a promising precedent for future editions that aim to blend health, harmony, and professional unity within the community.
