Nagpur SEZ -MIHAN Expands: Four New Companies Approved Taking the Total to 50
Nagpur’s MIHAN Special Economic Zone (SEZ) is set to grow further with the addition of four new companies, increasing the total number of firms in the SEZ to 50. These newly approved companies have secured space in MIHAN’s W Building and are expected to begin operations within the month, boosting economic activity in the region.The approvals were granted during the fourth Unit Approval Committee (UAC) meeting on January 28, where 12 proposals were reviewed. Out of these, five were first-time applicants, with four receiving immediate approval. One proposal remains pending due to incomplete documentation but is expected to be cleared soon.
New Companies Approved for MIHAN SEZ
The four companies, which represent diverse industries, have committed a combined investment of ₹4.50 crore and are projected to create approximately 170 new jobs. Here are the approved firms:
- Perla IT (Nagpur): Specializes in computer services, software development, web design, and product management.
- Cloud Science Labs Pvt. Ltd. (Delhi): Focused on designing and developing cloud-based CRM solutions.
- People Global Services Pvt. Ltd. (Nagpur): Provides IT consulting and support services.
- Master Medical Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (Nagpur): Manufactures medical, surgical, dental, and veterinary instruments.
ADCC Proposal Pending Approval
Nagpur-based ADCC has submitted a proposal for an ₹11.64 crore investment to establish operations within MIHAN-SEZ. However, its approval is pending due to incomplete documentation. The company is expected to submit the required details soon to secure final clearance.
Ongoing Efforts to Attract Investments
Assistant Development Commissioner GS Bhandari confirmed that efforts are underway to attract more investment and employment opportunities in MIHAN-SEZ.
