Late-Night Encroachment Drive Ushers in New Era for Traffic-Harassed Residents
Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) officials, under police supervision, launched a late-night demolition drive to remove encroachments in Keshav Nagar. This initiative paves the way for a brand new 60-foot-wide road project, a welcome development for residents who have long grappled with traffic congestion.
Local sources reported scenes of jubilation among residents who have been facing daily struggles due to traffic snarls. The swift action by PMC has brought hope for a speedy completion of the road project, significantly improving their commute.
The drive began at the Y junction on the right side of Manjri Road and will continue till Z corner. To minimize traffic disruption, the demolition work will be conducted nightly for the next 10 days, from 11 PM to 6 AM.
