D-Mart on Lohegaon-Wagholi Road Issued Notice for Inadequate Parking Facility
The D-mart located on Lohegaon-Wagholi Road recently received a notice from the Assistant Police Inspector of Lonikand Traffic Department regarding the lack of adequate parking space for the large number of daily customers. With no designated parking area, customers often resort to parking their vehicles close to the road, resulting in frequent traffic jams. Recognizing the immense suffering experienced by the citizens, Assistant PI Gajanan Jadhav, Head of Lonikand Traffic Department, took immediate action and issued a notice to the managers of D-mart, urging them to arrange proper parking facilities for customers’ vehicles or find an alternative open space for parking.
The notice highlights that Lohegaon-Wagholi Road has become heavily urbanized, leading to customers awkwardly parking their vehicles in the already narrow space along the road, causing significant traffic congestion.Given the widespread inconvenience caused by the irregular parking on the road, it is essential for the establishment to take adequate measures to address this issue and minimize the disruption to citizens. At the same time, citizens must also exhibit a sense of civic responsibility and take appropriate action if they find themselves facing difficulties due to the parking situation.
