Boost to Tourism and Employment
The African Safari is anticipated to attract a significant influx of tourists to Nagpur, further solidifying the zoo’s reputation as a top destination. The existing Indian Safari at Gorewada Zoo—home to tigers, leopards, bears, and herbivores—has already been a major draw. Officials believe this new addition will enhance tourism and generate local employment opportunities. With its combination of unique wildlife and immersive experiences, the African Safari aims to offer visitors a world-class destination and elevate Nagpur’s standing on the global tourism map.
