Chef Vishnu Manohar Sets a Record: 1,500 Dosas Made in Two Hours for Diwali Celebration
Chef Vishnu Manohar, renowned for his impressive culinary feats, reached yet another remarkable milestone on Sunday morning during Diwali. In just the first two hours, he crafted over 1,000 dosas, captivating food enthusiasts eager to sample his creations.Beginning his latest record-breaking endeavor at 7 am, the internationally celebrated chef—who boasts nearly 25 world records—reportedly whipped up an astonishing 1,500 dosas in that same time frame. As the delicious dosas sizzled, an enthusiastic crowd gathered to savor every bite.
This spectacular event is taking place at Vishnuji Ki Rasoi in Bajaj Nagar. For this ambitious initiative, Chef Manohar is using an impressive array of ingredients, including 100 kg of urad dal, 300 kg of rice, 35 kg of fenugreek seeds, 50 kg of poha, 200 kg of groundnut oil, 200 kg of coconut for chutney, 100 liters of curd, 100 kg of dal, 50 kg of red chilies, 5 kg of hing, 5 kg of mustard seeds, 50 kg of salt, 25 kg of coriander, 50 kg of sugar, and 5 kg of curry leaves. Previously, Vishnu Manohar has set 25 world records, including the creation of a colossal 7,000 kg “Ram Halwa” in Ayodhya, as well as records for the largest vegetarian kebab, largest paratha, largest puranpoli, and a remarkable 52-hour non-stop cooking marathon.
