Woman’s Birthday Cake Delivered to Wrong City, Pune Swiggy Agent Enjoys Surprise Treat: ‘Happiness in His Voice’

What was meant to be a birthday surprise ended up traveling to the wrong city and brightened someone else’s day instead. Deepshikha Bagal recently shared her story on X (formerly Twitter) about how her birthday cake was mistakenly delivered to Pune, even though she wasn’t there.Bagal was celebrating her birthday in her hometown, where services like Swiggy and Zomato operate but quick-commerce apps like Instamart, Zepto, and Blinkit do not.

She noted, “And the location pins here? Very questionable.”While on a call with friends, they ordered a birthday cake to surprise her. However, when the delivery partner called one of her friends for the exact location, confusion arose.

Checking the app, they realized the delivery address was unfamiliar.After some back-and-forth, the delivery partner revealed he was in Pune far from Bagal’s hometown. Embarrassed by the mix-up, Bagal told the delivery agent to keep the cake since it was her birthday.

The delivery partner responded warmly, “Achha, aaj aapka birthday hai? Happy birthday, madam,” with genuine happiness in his voice.Though Bagal didn’t get the cake, somewhere in Pune, a delivery agent enjoyed a sweet birthday treat and a heartfelt wish, turning the mishap into a moment of unexpected joy.
