PM Modi in Nagpur City Today: Check his Complete itinerary here

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to arrive in Nagpur, Maharashtra, on Sunday morning. During his visit, he will pay homage at the memorial of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) founder Dr. K.B. Hedgewar and honor Dr. B.R. Ambedkar at Deekshabhoomi.PM Modi’s visit coincides with an RSS function celebrating the Gudi Padwa festival. The RSS, headquartered in Nagpur, serves as the ideological mentor for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Itinerary for PM Modi’s Nagpur Visit

According to a government release, PM Modi will land in Nagpur and visit Smruti Mandir around 9 AM to pay tribute to the founding figures of the RSS, including memorials for Hedgewar and M.S. Golwalkar, the second Sarsanghchalak, located at Dr. Hedgewar Smruti Mandir in the Reshimbagh area.Following this, he will pay homage to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar at Deekshabhoomi, where the late leader embraced Buddhism along with thousands of followers in 1956.

At approximately 10 AM, Modi will lay the foundation stone for the Madhav Netralaya Premium Centre, an extension of the Madhav Netralaya Eye Institute and Research Centre, which was established in 2014 as a premier super-specialty ophthalmic care facility. The new facility will include a 250-bed hospital, 14 outpatient departments (OPDs), and 14 modular operation theatres, aiming to provide affordable and world-class eye care services.
Modi will also address a public meeting during his visit.Around 12:30 PM, the Prime Minister will inaugurate a newly constructed 1,250 m long and 25 m wide airstrip for Unarmed Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), along with a live munition and warhead testing facility designed for testing Loitering Munitions and other guided munitions in Nagpur.

After Nagpur, Modi’s Visit is Chhattisgarh

In addition to his engagements in Nagpur, Modi will travel to Chhattisgarh on the same day. At around 3:30 PM, he will head to Bilaspur to lay the foundation stone for development projects in the power, oil and gas, rail, road, education, and housing sectors, valued at over ₹33,700 crore.He will also lay the foundation stone for NTPC’s Sipat Super Thermal Power Project Stage-III (1x800MW) in Bilaspur district, worth over ₹9,790 crore, and dedicate three Power Transmission projects of POWERGRID under the Western Region Expansion Scheme (WRES), valued at over ₹560 crore.
