Nagpur’s Shiva Raju Selected as Commissioned Officer in Indian Army

Nagpur proudly celebrates the selection of Shiva Raju, a promising young resident, as a Commissioned Officer in the Indian Army. Shiva is set to commence his training this October at the prestigious Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) in Gaya, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey in the nation’s defense forces.
A former student of Bharti Krishna Vidya Vihar (BKVV), Shiva pursued an engineering degree from Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management. His academic background combined with relentless dedication and rigorous preparation enabled him to clear the highly competitive selection process for the Indian Army.Shiva’s training and skills development were meticulously guided by Lt Col M.P. Deshpande through The Forces Foundation, a renowned organization dedicated to preparing candidates for defense careers.
At the same time, he underwent specialized coaching at SPI Aurangabad, a premier institute famed for grooming future defense personnel.Hailing from a supportive family, Shiva’s father, Ajay Kumar Raju, is an artist associated with the Lokmat Group, while his mother, Saroj Raju, is a homemaker. He also has an elder brother, Dipanshu, who works in the private sector. The family’s encouragement and belief in his dreams have played a vital role in his success.
Shiva Raju’s achievement is a testament to his perseverance, discipline, and unwavering patriotism.
