He pointed to the city’s annual tree-planting initiatives, emphasizing the potential for enhancement.Tejinder Singh Renu, VTA Secretary, asserted that development and environmental conservation should be viewed as complementary rather than opposing forces.
He advocated for a balanced approach that considers both progress and sustainability. Renu expressed his belief that the proposed amendment would positively influence the city, transforming it into a more appealing tourist destination and fostering job creation, revenue generation, and economic growth. The VTA’s submission reflects a commitment to public interest and the long-term prosperity of Nagpur. The association firmly believes that the proposed amendment to the Development Plan will significantly benefit the city.
By embracing these changes, Nagpur could enhance its appeal as a tourist destination, adding another point of interest to the map. This, in turn, is expected to trigger a multiplier effect, generating numerous advantages for the local economy, including new job opportunities, increased revenue for the administration, and an overall economic boom that will elevate the region’s prosperity.
