Adequate Stock of Petrol, Diesel, CNG, and LPG Available in Nagpur District: Dr. Vipin Itankar

The Nagpur district administration has assured residents that there is no shortage of fuel in the region and urged the public not to fall for rumours.District Collector Dr. Vipin Itankar confirmed that ample stocks of petrol, diesel, CNG, and LPG cylinders are available throughout Nagpur district. The supply situation has been closely monitored in coordination with oil marketing companies and local authorities to ensure smooth and uninterrupted distribution.

Officials reported that Bharat Petroleum, Hindustan Petroleum, and Indian Oil Corporation continue to maintain stable fuel supplies in the district. All three companies have affirmed sufficient availability of petrol, diesel, CNG, and LPG cylinders, with regular deliveries ongoing.In early March 2026, the price of domestic LPG cylinders (14.2 kg) was increased by ₹60, bringing the new rate to ₹964.50 per cylinder.

Similarly, commercial LPG cylinder prices were raised to ₹1,935. The refill eligibility period for domestic cylinders has also been extended from 15 days to 25 days.The district administration, working closely with the police and oil companies, has implemented precautionary measures to maintain adequate petrol and diesel reserves.

Dr. Itankar appealed to citizens to avoid unnecessary crowding at fuel stations and to disregard any rumours about fuel shortages, assuring that the supply situation is well under control.
